Captilight is an independent game studio located in Orlando, FL. Our team consists of individuals all around the world but the majority of the team is located in Orlando, FL. We are currently looking for a UI Artist to work on our game, Path of Kami.
Path of Kami is an exploration puzzle game featuring a Japanese aesthetic. Players control Akatsu to solve puzzles along their journey to the Spirit World.

As a UI Artist you will be responsible for creating wireframes, user flows, and 2D graphics along with documentation.
This is a contract position that can last up to a month with recurring work that may be needed at a later time as iterations of the game design are made.
Responsibilities
- Design and create high-quality 2D art assets
- Design layouts, user flows, and interactions for our game’s UI based off our game designs
- Document flows and interactions to clearly communicate designs to the team
- Collaborate with Creative Director, Art Director and design team
- Rapidly prototype, iterate and refine ideas based on feedback
Qualifications
- Some sort of formal post-secondary education in 2D art preferred (but not required)
- A current online portfolio with designs that you have done directly along with links (please ensure to provide portfolio link)
- You are proactive and do not wait around for instruction but rather chase down tasks and do your best to provide suggestions and feedback
- Proficient in using the Adobe suite
- Strong time management skills
- Passion and knowledge of games
Bonus
- Startup or small company experience
- Experience and passion for creating Concept Art
