Release Manager
Armor Games is looking for a Release Manager to help us coordinate our game releases for PC, console, mobile, and VR! Working with indie game developers from around the world, you’ll be in close coordination with talented developers and our tight-knit remote team to help our games launch across multiple platforms.
We are open to exploring this role with you as either entry level or with more experienced candidates. This position is full-time remote.
Role and Responsibilities
- Work with our internal team and external developers to release games on several first-party platforms
- Build sustainable release strategies and deployment plans across each platform and game
- Coordinate and solve logistical problems in onboarding games to platforms
- Help producers and developers navigate certification and build submissions
- Manage backend tools and services with first-party platforms
- Set up store pages in conjunction with marketing team, developers, and producers
- Help coordinate sales and opportunities for our titles post-launch
- Maintain our release calendar
- Stay up-to-date on new processes and requirements for platforms ensuring we’re meeting high standards
- Coordinate hardware and other resources for team
Desired Experience/Qualifications
- Previous experience in release management on PC, console, mobile
- Self-starter, able to identify and solve problems autonomously
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge and love for indie games
- Experience in Excel/Google Sheets
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable with Slack/online meetings
