Antlion Audio is seeking a self-starting and detail-oriented remote Assistant PR & Communications Specialist with experience managing influencers, social media, and has a background in gaming, audio, and/or technology. Expertise in written skills is required with bonus points awarded for any graphic design abilities.
The ideal candidate will be up to speed with consumer electronics, ideally audio or gaming related, with experience managing, ideating, and executing PR campaigns for both product launches and ongoing activities, and with experience booking media campaigns.

The Assistant PR Specialist will be responsible for the following core functions:
Product PR & Media Relations
- Maintain and grow key press contacts across business, lifestyle, and tech communities.
- Utilize press relationships across print and digital outlets.
- Seek out opportunities for networking and PR opportunities at both the product and corporate level.
- Monitor media trends, announcements, and brand mentions across a wide variety of platforms.
Social Media & Community Communications
- Regularly update, improve, and maintain existing common social media platforms.
- Manage our ever-growing partnered streamers and content creators.
- Manage and grow our live Discord community.
- Present and execute ideas for growing these social platforms.
Writing & Design
- Draft and send pitches to press and influencers.
- Support editing and drafting of forward facing materials such as announcements, website text, or sales materials.
- Assist in design related decisions such as the creation of advertisements, videos, banners, packaging and more.
Candidates are required to have the following
- Relevant job experience of 3+ years in PR or Communications—either in-house, or at an agency.
- Strong, proven press relationships with tech, lifestyle, or gaming media.
- Strong writing skills, with experience in crafting persuasive pitches and descriptive copy.
- Strong organization and research skills.
- Expertise in G-Suite, including Drive, Mail, Sheets, and Docs.
- Stellar interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification.
- Ability to travel, when it is safe to do so, to large events such as PAX, SxSW, TwitchCon, etc.
Bonus points for
- Experience with and knowledge of high-end audio.
- Mad skills with graphic design in Adobe or Adobe-like products.
- Passion for or experience within the video games industry.
- An enthusiast for PCs. If you’re not afraid to open up your case and replace parts, we want to hear from you!
- Regularly using a 3D printer, virtual reality, or similarly cutting edge technology.
