Zebra Partners is a fast growing and well-respected US and global public relations and marketing firm. Our expertise is in gaming, emerging technology and consumer products. We are looking to add a seasoned video game industry professional to our leadership team who can oversee and grow our gaming and streaming content division.

 

Who we need: Someone who lives/eats/breathes video games, is always on the hunt for the latest trends, and is connected to key players in the gaming industry. We want someone who will push the limits of PR and marketing and bring creativity (inspired by data) to our amazing gaming clients daily. The person we hire can work virtually from anywhere in the U.S. and must be willing to travel for in-person meetings and industry events (post-Covid) on occasion.

 

About the position: The role is varied and exciting with the primary focus on driving amazing programming and success for our video game and streaming clients, managing and inspiring the team within the division, and growing our client base. Our new hire will ensure top notch account management -- constantly bring ideas to clients; execute aggressive media relations activities; develop brand concepts, grassroots, social and influencer ideas; and demonstrate results for video game and streaming content clients. They will also focus on growing the video game division within the company with a portion of their time devoted to business development.

·         Professional experience of ten years or more in the field of integrated marketing with strong PR and social experience.

·         Management experience via PR agency or in-house position.

·         Equal amounts passion and deep experience in the video game industry.

·         Experience overseeing client accounts, building strong relationships, and bringing creative ideas/marketing solutions that grow brands.

·         Strategic thinker and initiator who can succinctly share ideas, write strong plans, drive integrated programs, and keep a tight schedule that stays within scope of work and budgets.

·         Strong media relations background, including deep working relationships with key technology and gaming media; strong media pitching skills.

·         Well-versed in social media platforms and tools and in working with influencers.

·         Ability to manage, provide direction and mentor team members, demonstrate positive relationship skills.

·         Must like fast-paced environment – be able to think on his/her/their feet.

·         Works efficiently and smartly

·         Travel for periodic industry events and conferences 

·         Journalism experience

·         Experience bringing in new clients to an agency

·         Experience with media databases, such as Cision, MuckRack, etc.

·         Demonstrable experience delivering business results in social media
