The Powell Group is hiring a Back Catalog Specialist. In this position you are both a business and production leader, charged with taking care of back catalog titles and finding solid business opportunities for them. The Back Catalog Specialist is the owner of the entire back catalog and is accountable for its profitability and the maintenance of it.
The role of Back Catalog Specialist requires a large amount of autonomy and self- drive, with plenty of potential to fulfill and opportunities to grow.
Responsibilities
- Being the owner of the Legacy Portfolio performance, setting up business goals and making sure it hits its KPI targets
- Ownership of the business case of the portfolio, including building and balancing the P&L, and management of the overall budget
- Representation of the portfolio to both internal and external partners and stakeholders, including presentations, reporting, etc.
- Building and maintaining of a healthy relationship with development partners, both internal or external studios
- Supporting the business development and strategic teams in evaluating potential new games and business cases
Qualifications
- Previous experience managing a back catalog for a developer or publisher
- Solid eye for business opportunities and a drive
- Great organizational and planning skills
- Engage with and keep track of multiple stakeholders with different backgrounds and different levels of seniority.
- Self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit who is able to act autonomously
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
