Tatsu Works is a company passionate about connecting communities through Tatsumeeko, our modern fantasy RPG. We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Visual Designer to join us and produce eye catching visuals, collateral and graphics for Tatsumeeko, the next game expansion to our popular Tatsu.GG platform used by more than 1.4 million Discord communities. We place fun gameplay, awesome user experience and mass adoption at the forefront of our creative vision. Our team is looking for someone who can inspire and be inspired by others so we can build an eye pleasing and fun experience for Tatsumeeko. The ideal candidate will have a passion for modern graphic design, the latest trends, a keen eye for detail and the ability to take initiative. The Senior Visual Designer joining us will share our vision and make this project their own.
Senior Visual Designer Responsibilities
- Design eye catching visuals for the games banners, marketing collateral, brand elements
- Develop concepts and design eye pleasing but functional graphic elements in conjunction with the UI/UX team
- Work closely with the art director, engineers and game designers to produce emotionally attractive designs
- Guide and mentor other less experienced designers
- Establish the quality bar for your discipline
- Extend themes throughout the game and establishing style guides and conventions
You may be a good fit if you:
- Have a creative and artistic nature
- Want to work on a project with unique market positioning that has mass adoption by communities and players around the world
- Can create, evolve and execute an artistic vision for the User Interface, have an excellent eye for detail and know what successful games look like
- Obsess over creating designs that evoke emotional responses
- Are able to understand the pain points in UI/UX development
- Have a portfolio demonstrating visual design creativity and knowledge of UIUX design in games.
- Proficiency in typography, sketching, composition, layout, colour, iconography and illustration.
- Can work efficiently and within deadlines
- Have 5+ years of graphic design or visual design experience
- Possess top-notch communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills
- Have extensive experience in Photoshop, Illustrator or other similar software
- Have experience using Discord servers and interacting with online communities
- You enjoy mobile gacha games and MMORPGs
- You have a strong grasp of English
