For this role, we are looking for a passionate and proficient Designer to play a pivotal role as part of a multi-disciplinary team designing and implementing features that delight players and hit KPI targets. Experience/Skills
  • Excellent knowledge of F2P and mobile games.
  • A high standard of written and verbal presentation skills.
  • Experience presenting game concepts to internal and external clients.
  • High degree of creativity and proven design skills.
  • Ability to manage and document design on a project.
  • Experience with wireframing tools and presentation software.
  • Appreciation for agile style development processes.
  • Self-motivating, outstanding attention to detail and organisation abilities.
  • Inspirational and ambitious personality.
  • Experience working closely in a cross-discipline team.
  • Creative writing skills to create a compelling and cohesive vision and game text.
  • Experience with setting up and maintaining live-ops.
  • Able to quickly learn development tools and scripting languages.

 
Duties and Tasks
  • Communicate with external clients to identify and define product and feature requirements.
  • Create compelling, attention-grabbing work for external clients.
  • Create detailed Design Specifications for other disciplines to estimate and implement.
  • Work closely with project team members to execute design and work through design revisions as needed to create engaging gameplay prototypes and features.
  • Work closely with the Producer to ensure scope is clearly defined and milestones are met.
  • Work with the team and clients to detail live-ops roadmaps and target KPIs.
  • Work closely with Product Managers and Data Analysts to ensure the best F2P monetization methods are followed.
  • Keep up to date with market trends and best practices in F2P gaming, sharing your knowledge to improve our products.
  • Participate in providing respectful, constructive evidence-based feedback in order to further develop your team members. 

 
Required Experience 
  • Candidates will ideally have 1+ years of industry experience working in a design role and be educated to degree level.
  • Excellent knowledge of F2P and mobile games.
  • Written design documentation for cross-discipline teams.
  • Experience working closely in a cross-discipline team.
  • Experience with setting up and maintaining live-ops.
  • Experience of 4x, Strategy, MMO, RPG genres would be beneficial.
 
Desirable Experience
  • Experience presenting game concepts to internal and external clients.
  • Liasing with external clients to ensure vision alignment.
  • Able to quickly learn development tools and scripting languages.
  • Worked in an agile style development process.
