Hiring Gameplay Programmer - Unreal Engine (Remote)
Shiny Dynamics is a passionate game studio founded by 4 friends, who decided in August 2022 to turn their lifelong dream into reality. With years of experience in building software for millions, their shared passion for gaming drove them to create a game studio that embodies their vision of timeless, inclusive, and engaging games.
We are looking for an experienced Gameplay Programmer (Unreal Engine) based in the UK or Germany to complete our core team and help us build high-quality games.

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain gameplay systems using Unreal Engine and C++.
- Collaborate with designers and engineers to translate design ideas into functional gameplay features.
- Optimize and refine gameplay systems to ensure smooth performance and a high-quality player experience.
- Debug and resolve technical issues related to gameplay systems.
- Contribute to the overall game architecture and design, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior programmers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in game development technology.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience working with Unreal Engine or proprietary game development technologies.
- Proven experience building gameplay systems in Unreal Engine using C++.
- Strong understanding of game design principles and mechanics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across design and engineering teams.
- Highly motivated and proactive, with a passion for building games from the ground up.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
