Role Overview
We are looking for a driven and talented Senior Game Developer to join our Engineering Team. This role is ideal for someone driven to develop and maintain core technology and software systems, while leveraging their programming expertise, collaboration skills, and leadership abilities.
Responsibilities
- Game Development: Contribute to the creation of our game by developing and implementing engaging gameplay features, mechanics, and systems. Collaborate closely with designers and artists to ensure the game's vision is effectively brought to life as a functional and captivating experience.
- Programming Expertise: Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, Python or Go. Write efficient, maintainable code to optimise performance and eliminate bugs.
- Systems Architecture: Design and maintain the architecture that powers the game, including frameworks for mechanics, user interfaces, AI systems, physics simulations, networking, and other critical components.
- Team Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of all game elements and deliver a unified experience.
- Quality Assurance: Actively participate in testing and debugging phases to ensure the game operates smoothly across various platforms and devices.
- Code Review and Mentoring: Review code written by other programmers, provide constructive feedback, and uphold coding standards and best practices. Take on a mentoring role to support and guide the development of junior programmers.

Performance Optimization: Continuously analyse and enhance game performance to ensure smooth and efficient gameplay across all systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of proven experience as a game developer, with a strong focus on mobile game development.
- Track record of success in delivering games from concept to release (A to Z) on mobile platforms.
- Proficiency in C#. Python, or Go is a significant advantage.
- Expert knowledge of the Unity Game Engine.
- Exceptional technical, creative, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong collaboration and leadership abilities, with a team-oriented mindset.
- Outstanding English communication skills.
- A deep passion for gaming and a commitment to delivering exceptional player experiences.
- Proactive and dynamic, always staying ahead of industry trends and keeping a pulse on competitive products.
