We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Lead with proven experience leading QA for AAA game development. This long-term contract position is remote work and does not require relocation. You will be collaborating with multiple disciplines to ensure a consistent, fun, and functional experience across multiple platforms.
Job Duties / Responsibilities
- Communicate with Development and Production teams to provide recommendations on compliant game functionality and/or technical requirements
- Manage a team of QA members that includes mentoring, scheduling, and tracking tasks
- Oversee scheduling, preparation, and completion of QA team deliverables: status reports, test plans, bug reports, and cert reports
- Complete milestone assessment reports at Alpha & Beta per our established QA policies
- Manually test and verify the stability and correct implementation of game features, levels, dialogues, and branching paths
- Advocate for the player experience by giving qualitative feedback to Design
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, especially with precise technical language.
- Must have proven AAA QA work experience
- Must have proven senior QA experience with most popular console platforms
- Must have at least 1 full year as a QA Lead
