In very little time, Binance has become the no. 1 global crypto-currency exchange in the world. To advance its mission, Binance periodically incubates new businesses internally or with joint venture partners. One new business line will introduce games into our ecosystem.
We are looking to hire a talented and experienced community marketing manager to lead the charge for this new business. This is a unique opportunity to define a brand from scratch, create processes and get as much responsibility and exposure as you can handle.
Candidates must have experience attracting and growing crypto communities, as well deep relationships with the global crypto community, KOLs and PR/marketing outlets.
The ideal candidate will also have a track record of building successful crypto communities in SEA and/or Eastern Europe. A superstar candidate will have experience both in crypto and gaming, and be comfortable in front of a camera livestreaming on Twitter and Twitch.
Responsibilities
- Create, activate and retain local online and offline communities for our crypto gaming product
- Moderate local forums, social platforms and chat groups to interact with the community and increase positive engagement
- Organize, manage and oversee community meetups
- Establish relationships with crypto and gaming partners, including KOLs, PR agencies, marketing agencies and youtube channel owners
- Assist Binance Marketing with the creation and execution of social media campaigns to acquire, activate and retain users
- Increase reach, engagement and conversion through social media and content marketing strategies
- Explore new platforms and channels for growth of the gaming business’s userbase and influence (Reddit, Discord, etc.)
- Create unique pieces of content (blog, community, video) to increase brand mentions and social media engagement
- Coordinate and project manage marketing campaigns with other Binance teams
- Provide market and competitive intelligence for Binance, monitor KPI and trends in communities to inform overall marketing and product strategy
Requirements
- Proven track record of building, activating and retaining a crypto community
- Strong coordination skills and strategic mindset towards marketing, with familiarity with online and offline marketing avenues such as social media, community management, event management and affiliate marketing
- Native or fluent language ability in English
- Comfortable switching quickly between a professional managed-by-numbers culture and startup environment
- Comfortable working with a distributed and global team
- Remote is possible for the right candidate
Bonus
- Experience in the online gaming industry, and ideally in the crypto gaming industry
- Native or fluent ability in one of the following languages: Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese, Russian
