We Are: At New Game+ we improve the way people share stories. We believe storytelling is the cornerstone of how society learns from history and innovates. Because of this, we create software that empowers everyone to be great storytellers.

Since 2017 we have created revolutionary products that bring people together to learn, connect, and grow through immersive experiences.

We are currently working on a networked application built in Unity, aimed at giving organizations and event audiences the freedom to naturally connect and like they would in-person, inside of a high fidelity 3D environment.

You Are:
  • A multi-talented individual with experience across 3D art, game engines, and programming.
  • Someone who has a practiced and strong sense of design and quality.
  • Someone who loves tackling radically different work every day.

Requirements:
  • Multiple years of experience in programming inside of a game engine codebase (C# or C++ preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of modeling workflows within Maya/Max/Blender. You have experience in character art, environmental art, texturing, retopology, and weight painting.
  • Strong knowledge of rigging and animation work within Maya/Max/Blender. You can build high quality character rigs across face and body joints, and build their corresponding animation libraries.
  • Multiple years of experience working with Unity art pipelines. You know the intricacies of working with different render pipelines, light-mapping, LODS, animation, environmental design, UI, Cinemachine, VFX graph. Anything art related, you have a clear picture on how it works.
  • Ability to break down and prioritize complex tasks, and communicate with senior leadership on expected roadmaps.
  • Working knowledge of "Game math" (e.g., matrix operations, vectors, and quaternions).
  • Experience working with a performance profiler, and optimizing game graphics.
This position, as all positions in our company, is fully permanently remote with no in-person office option

Salary starting at: $85k
