At MLC, we're on the hunt for a part-time (3 days per week) enthusiastic content creator to help us build a YouTube channel and Discord community, as well as other marketing initiatives. Currently remote (UK only), with the potential to move into office in Suffolk, although not compulsory.
In short, you'll be helping us with our 2021-22 marketing strategy! The fun that this role entails:
- Creating videos and building up our YouTube channel
- Playing games and recording for content
- Blog writing
- Discord community management
- Email marketing
- Chatting with indie game developers
Requirements

Requirements
Great time management and work management skills
- Love for gaming and all things games
- Keen to learn more about indie games or great knowledge of them
- Strong and fast video editing skills
- Very good written English for blog writing and social media interaction
- Team player
- Fantastic organisation

Responsibilities
- Working from briefs and asking the right questions so you know exactly what needs to be achieved
- Editing YouTube videos
- Creating social media videos for Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook
- Creating blogs from video content
- Interacting with viewers and replying to comments
- Researching for upcoming videos (searching for the best indie games)
- Rectifying your misunderstandings of briefs/scope if occurs
