Be the player-facing voice of Genpop Interactive and lead the effort to further expand and maintain our community. You will create strategies to grow and engage our player base, including curating our weekly playtests and gathering player feedback while ensuring a friendly and healthy environment for everyone. Our community heavily influences the direction of our game, and you will be the biggest advocate for their needs. Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute social media strategies to grow and engage our player base
- Collaborate with developers to write patch notes and other announcements
- Run weekly playtests and gather player feedback
- Manage our Discord server and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new players
- Lead the organization of community events like tournaments and contests
- Use analytics to measure KPIs like player retention, growth and engagement
Qualifications:
- 1+ years experience in community management for video games or related fields (PR, Content Management, Customer Service)
- Proficiency with social media platforms including Twitter, Discord and Instagram
- Knowledge of how to produce livestreams on platforms such as Twitch and YouTube
- Great oral and written communication skills
Nice to Have:
- Expert knowledge managing Discord servers and bots
- Knowledge of image-editing software like Photoshop
- Experience creating strategies for announcing games
- An active interest in eSports
