ABOUT FUNDAMENTALLY GAMES

Fundamentally Games works with developers and organisations to transform games into living games, providing ‘liveops-as-a-service’ to get more players, doing more things, more often, for longer.

We’re a small but growing team, and we value work life balance, so we have flexible working policies in place, subject to a few conditions and the requirements of projects you may be working on of course! Firstly, we all work from home (or from a local hot desk) and (when there isn’t a global pandemic situation) meet up in person around once a month – usually in London. We have flexible working hours to support our team to be able to do their job around their personal commitments. For example, if you have kids you can work between the hours your children are in school, or you can do more hours a day and only work 4 days a week. We also let you work on personal projects and actively encourage you taking part in game jams or other industry events.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a role for someone with around 2-5 years games industry experience. The ideal candidate is an existing game producer looking to expand your skills and variety of projects. You will have been working on ‘games as a service’ on any platform, with specific experience working on the live operations of a game in live. You are passionate about the potential for games as a service to enhance the player experience and of live operations to optimise the player lifecycle, and be interested in working across genres, platforms, project sizes and with games for entertainment as well as games with a purpose. As we all work from home, you need to be great at communication and self disciplined.

Your role will be to manage the onboarding of Live Ops Clients, the set-up of Live Ops Operations and to ensure the delivery of the agreed schedule of ongoing activities working with the community and design teams as well as the client Game Developer team. This role is intended as an opportunity for someone who has already established their core competencies as a game producer and wants to develop their skills further, in particular around games as a service, live operations and leadership. Therefore, it will support personal development and will enable the candidate to expand their skills in their areas of interest.
