Character Animator Job Description
Enver Experience is looking for 3D character designers & animators who have a passion for creating high quality game character animations. A strong candidate will have a passion for creating high quality games and experiences. We are looking for Artists who champion the character design and the final player experience in every piece they do.
Responsibilities:
- Translate fully realized concepts or simple napkin sketches into next-gen models of characters
- Incorporate technical, artistic, animation, and knowledge of character design into asset creation and production animation
- Working on the future of blockchain gaming
- Designing 3D characters and other game props
- Brainstorm new game ideas that would engage a wide audience and improve already created assets
- Creating special effects to match specific briefs using a combination of hand-drawing techniques and computer software
Required Skills
- Thorough understanding of human anatomy, form, shape, structure, and silhouette
- Experience creating character animations and animations of all types
- Expert knowledge of VFX, 3D Max or Maya, Photoshop, Zbrush and/or Mudbox
- Ability to learn high to low poly pipelines
- Effective communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to take feedback
- Committed to create great games
- Technically proficient, able to identify and collaborate on pipeline innovations
- Good communication skills and ability to work hands-on with design and tech teams
- Experience working closely with external art vendors
- Extensive knowledge and proven experience in character design, rigging, skinning etc
- Attention to detail and good visualization skills
