The Company

This client will be hiring remotely and until lock down ends, this will be a remote working role.

We are happy to be representing a company who has worked on numerous titles, including many AAA games. They are versatile, working on numerous platforms and covering various different game genres as well. They are looking for an Experienced Character Artist to join their team. They are offering up to £45,000 with other benefits.

The Job

As an Experienced Character Artist, you will be required to do a few different tasks, such as, managing the pipeline for character art, creating meshes, moving high poly models into low poly, and creating documentation. You will be required to create high quality assets for the game. You will also work with the animation team, to ensure your models move as desired. You will also work with your team and other teams on pre production. Finally, you will also mentor the other Character Artists as well.

The Person

Ideally, you will have worked in a similar role prior

You will need:

• Expertise in 3D packages, 2D packages and other programs, such as, Mudbox, Zbrush, Substance Painter
• Knowledge of shaders
• Experience creating high polygon models
