Remote Programming Jobs.
Amiqus have partnered with an Indie Development studio based in Norway, who are currently looking to bolster their ranks and require a Gameplay Programmer to help work on their new console title, to be released on Switch, XB1 and PS4.
The studio is based in a beautiful part of Norway, known for its Skiing and Winter sports.
The studio has released a range of titles which have sold a respectable number of units and appeal to a hard-core fan base of gamers. This role will focus on you working on an existing franchise, which has earned high praise and acclaim, and a brand-new title to work on from scratch.
As the Gameplay Programmer, you will work closely with the Technical Director in defining the vision of the titles. They are looking for this developer to assist with multiple disciplines of programming, from core gameplay systems, through to helping with general bug fixing, UI, mechanics and AI. This would suit a generalist programmer who prefers delving into different areas of code in a small flat structure.
You will be coming into the studio at a great time as development has just begun, giving you opportunity to implement core systems and leave your own signature on the title from the beginning.
In addition to an amazing project, the studio can also help candidates with relocation assistance, which includes help with accommodation, covered relocation expenses and help with International children’s schools. The role can also offer 100% remote working, with some meetings in their studio when required, so being based in the EU is a huge plus.
